When importing footage from my DVX100B shot in 24p Advanced, how do I remove the 2:3 pulldown and what type of timeline do I put the clips in? I have FCP 5. I need an answer soon so please try to help me out here.

24pa is 2:3:3:2 pulldown 24p is 2:3 pulldown.
