FCE Problem

I can't keep the video and audio locked. When the clips are set in the timeline, the A/V is automatically unlinked and I can't link them back. I can link and unlink the two channels of audio, but not both channels to the video, or 1 channel of audio to the video. Anyone have this problem before?

I know that in FCP if you hit ****+L that links video and audio into a pair as long as you have both selected. Dont know if that works the same in FCE?
