I have just installed Leopard on my 24" iMac, and with a FW800 drive connected as the scratch disk FCE will not start just hangs at the opening screen, if I disconnect the drive then it work fine, I never had this problem before I installed Leopard. I have tried removing the pref files and this does not seem to work I have also re installed FCE but still the same.
FCE will work but I have to connect the FW800 once FCE has loaded up, I can then change the Scratch disk back to FW800, OK it works but not how I would like it to?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
