this just started happening after i capture a bunch of stuff but i dunno if it the problem but, when ever i put a video, title, or song in my time line and then render it so i can listen to it or whatever, so it help but things where i want them. but anyway this sign comes up saying "Warning: insufficient disk space for render. please free up space and retry". and i am not sure what space its talking about. my bin is mostly empty, and i am only working with 1 sequence. i dunno if my garbage can it kinda full of stuff but i dunno if that the problem.

anyone have any ideas what i need to do? thanks

It's talking about the space on your computer allocated to Final Cut.

Go to the FCP menu> system settings> and check your scratch disk settings.

Also check the "minimum allowable free space on scratch disk".

ok i am checking the settings right now and it says

"minimum allowable free space on scratch disks: 2047 MB".

so do i delete things or something. cause i am editing on a macbook. i am not sure what to delete or to do.

i am kind of new with this stuff, sorry

At the top where it says "scratch disks", where is it set to? and after that it should say how much space is available. My guess is there's not a lot there.

2047 is fine for "minimun allowable...", you just need to see how much hard drive space you have available.
