Favorite Trailers of all Time?

I've always been a fan of trailers. If done well not only does it reveal just enough of the story to peak your interest, but it can evoke an intense emotional response within just two minutes. It's a challenge indeed, and something very different from a movie scene.

Now forgetting about the actual film that is associated with it, what is your all time favorite trailer, and why? (please try to link to it)

Is it the editing, the shots chosen, the music, the emotion, or all of the above?

All of the above for both. <grin>

...but most importantly, the pace of the editing, the tone of the music (plus the clock ticking for ASM), the quietness of both of these trailers...

My favorite trailer at the moment is the latest Prometheus trailer.

I personally think that the latest TDKR trailer makes the film look way too melodramatic.

Oh, and probably this... but it's probably only because I'm so excited (and because it's Wes Anderson!!):

Little Children:

I've never actually seen little children because it's just not my type of movie, but I've always been intrigued by the trailer. The conscious choice to use the sound of an approaching train (obviously edited) instead of music. Also the still quiet of the beginning works well too, like the Trailers Michael chose.

Inception:

Just to get one of the more obvious ones out of the way. :) I've always loved the trailer, and it's obviously because of the music. However the choice of these 'mind bending' shots really helped to sell the movie, to see a city fold over itself, and people in zero-g...

I think this trailer re-defined 'epic trailers' for a long time.

Every time I watch this trailer it makes me want to re-watch the movie. I love that in the trailer shows the intriguing concept, tone, images, music that capture everything that makes the movie so wonderful.

Brilliant in every way. I love that the first 30 or so seconds are not footage from the actual film, yet they relate perfectly to the story and make it even stronger. Then there's the absolute genius selection of the song. Excellent editing that builds to a crescendo. Add on top of all this that's it's an amazing film, and I can't think of a trailer that I like more.
