Favorite magazines?

I've noticed as of late I have been picking up less of my regular magazines. Mostly due to DVXuser pretty much being a daily read. :D

What periodicals do you read? (Video / Filmmaking related)

Some I enjoy:

Moviemaker
Filmmaker
Film Festival Today
Videography*

*Sometimes - It really bothers me they carry full page ads for Broadway Photo and such - IMO that's crap. Can easily convince someone they are legit. >:( Took me awhile to discover they are crooks - So only if there is an article that catches my eye.

What are you kids reading?

POST magazine is really all I read about only because I get them for free.Hey, I'm a filmmaker on a budget. I also read Maxim for motivational purposes. :)

I love POST because it talks about all the latest post stuff from HD,CG,NLE, etc. Check it out!

I got mine free when I attended the creativecow expo 2 years ago. I'm sure its still free.

I like Movie Maker and Filmmaker, but the one that feels really good to me is The Independent Film and Video Monthly. You get it with membership in the Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers.

Every rare now and again I'll check out RES. Man does it suck ass most of the time, but here and there it will have some amazingly worthwhile and often inspirational stuff.

Where I live there isnt much more selection, due to the fact that there are probably no more than 5 people in a 40 mile radius that are even remotely interested in making movies. But you can get some really good stuff on farming and home decor. Or weed. High Times is evidently very widely read as all the convienient stores carry it. I cant afford either weed or High Times. I'm lucky my wife buys me Filmmaker, and her sister got me a subscription to Movie Maker for Christmas.
