Favorite Low Budget Cinematography Examples?

A nice short shot on the Sony VX-1000 which shoots DV.

Called "Sweet."

It's short film about a chance miss at love. Of course the DP is top notch... Allen Daviau, ASC.

Can't find a good reproduction online, but I have seen Daviau present the film at a small digital seminar at a Birns & Sawyer events. Looked fantastic! Shows that any camera can look well if treated right by a good eye.
 
Check out Stu Maschwitz's site'Prolost' he alway's has 1/3" chip camera examples that he and others have colorized to make look great for a small camera.

check out 'The Green Project' it is a chase seq that he shot using a green toy gun and he show's examples of before and after colorization, sound FX and muzzle blast added it's COOL.
When you see the finished product you would never figure they were doing it on the cheap. Looks and sounds like a real gun shot on a much more expensive format.
