Hi.

Just wanted to know your favorite fonts. What are you using all the times? What is working "every" time for you?

Cheers!

Futura, Helvetica Neue, DIN, Montrachet, Trajan, Garamond... Georgia for the web. For most work I rarely need more than these.

Nice list, dougspice! Really great fonts there. I have to find that Microstyle Extended and try it out...

I use alot of good typefaces from houseindustries.com quite a bit for stylized faces.

Standard sans-serif is usually DIN Scrift, Trade Gothic Condensed, helvetica neue, etc.

Batman Forever, Blade Runner, Smarkan, various Asian flavored ones. I just go through the free fonts on line and add any I like. I have too many now to count. Batman Forever is probably my favorite though.

That Microstyle font looks to be a pretty obvious clone of Eurostile, which is a good one. There'a another slight variant of it known as Federation, which I believe is what they used for the lettering on Star Trek ships. Anyway, point is that you've probably been seeing Eurostile, and not Microstyle. If you care. Which you probably don't, and shouldn't. :)

Eurostyle ripoff.

true, Microstyle looks a lot like Eurostile but if I was to choose I'd go with Microstyle... there is something about it that is more pleasing to the eye.

as for font ripoffs, I don't think you can argue that any more. there are so many commercial fonts that are almost the same already.

For most generic stuff, I stick with Verdana. For "special titles" and other occasions, I surf until I find the right flavor to compliment the project.
