Favorite Dialouge

Ive just read "Deeper Levels of Dialogue" from Paul Lucey's Story Sense, it uses examples from The Verdict, Terminator and Sleepless in Seattle. I was just wondering what are other peoples favorite examples of dialogue in feature and short films?
Personally I like the long conversations in Waking Life by Richard Linklater.
Thanks,
Alex

CLERKS, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Dazed and Confused, Chasing Amy

Thanks, Ive seen all of those films except clerks, the one I should probably have watched the most! Anyone know of some good short film examples?

Watch Kevin Smith's short "The Flying Car" with the two characters from Clerks. It's only a few minutes and it goes to show how good dialogue can make even the most boring situation hilarious and fun. It really shows Smith's talent for dialogue.

Just the kind of inspiration I was looking for, I'm in the mood to finish writing my short now... or possibly to watch Clerks! Anyway I'll post up my script when its finished. Cheers guys.

Dialogue-wise...Anything by Quentin Tarantino (not so much Kill Bill, though) followed by The Cohen Brothers, especially Fargo, The Big Lebowski and No Country for Old Men (even though much of it was lifted directly from Cormac McCarthy).

John Milius also writes some good dialogue.
