favorite cable reality series?

Well, I used to enjoy Project Greenlight. But based on their track record, including no release for Feast, I don't believe they'll be doing another. :(

Reality TV sucks

Indeed it it does; but that statement could be translated to:

"TV sucks!" as MOST of the stuff nowadays IS Reality TV! :(

Cheap. That's what it is. Cheap to make. Let's feed cheap crap to the masses. And it works.

FOX had this Reality program yesterday, where they lock up a bunch of persons in a room, and then they can win 1.5m, and then they all argue....well, that's where I turned it off; I lasted 90 seconds I think.

The Fist 48
Laguna Beach: I hate that show but can't ever turn it off. Those SDX 900 are so nice
Project Runway
Miami ink
American Choppers
Roller Girls: Even though after the first three it got old
WE Secrete lives of woman: I was flipping through and saw some girls talking about porn what are you to do??.

I have no problem admitting it: I love Reality TV... Ever since the first season of The Real World. And the first season of Road Rules rocked.

Current favorites:
Project Runway -- the best.

The Apprentice -- I'm a sucker for the competition, the business challenges and the backstabbing, even though I'm no Donald Trump fan.

The First 48 is definitely a good one -- I like any crime and justice TV -- I'm a huge CourtTV junkie in general.

Love Rollergirls. Damn, I wanna be a Rollergirl.

The Surreal Life -- I'm not a regular viewer, but I did see every episode of the season with Chris Knight (Peter Brady) and Mini Me... And, a guilty pleasure was the spinoff, My Fair Brady.

Uhh, this is getting embarrassing. As you can see, I don't hold my TV viewing to the same high standards as my film viewing...

WARNING: Shameless Self-Promotion Follows::cheesy:
But, my very mostest favorite reality show is the kids' sci/tech show (working title: Mission Possible) Aram and I have created and that will, with any luck, be coming to a television near you! Shot with two DVX100a's!

Wondering what people are watching and why they like it?

a couple of mine are:
American Chopper ... for the characters
Laguna Beach ... for the slick shooting style (however, I wish the content was anything more than "Beach Blanket Bingo")
The Osbornes ... for everything about it

I dont understand LAguna beach is it real or is it a Fiction, makde to look real?

CAuse it is shot beautifull, but it looks to difficultto be jsut run and gun... idunno.

Wait, everything on TV isn't real? I can't believe TV would lie to us like that...

Baseball Tonight, greatest reality show in history

like it or not, reality tv is going to change the way movies and television are made. IN A GOOD WAY! I know you reality-tv haters don't want to hear of it. But what reality tv is doing is it's getting viewers used to real dialogue, real back-and-forth, with non-perfect pauses, talking over each other, talking about nothing. And except for the obvious planned dialogue moments of some shows, this is going to require actors and directors to get better performances. Because the viewer will now be more aware of fake performances and bad acting, cause they've seen REAL real emotion on screen.

I already know what you guys are going to say: "Everything they do on reality TV is fake! It's all scripted!" Yes, you do see that, but the majority of it they're really fighting, or really crying. You can only fake that stuff to a certain extent. And how do I know this? What am I, an expert or something? Well actually, yes. I was on a reality show once. And yes the producers nudge you and encourage you to follow certain paths, but in the end, it's up to you to say or do what you want. And no, I'm not going to tell you what show. :)

Little People Big Dreams. I really respect midgets & dwarfs because of this show. It's not making fun of little people. It's educational and that's why it's better than something like Two and a half men that has no real value beyond a few laughs.
