With the appearance of the trailers for The Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,

I felt compelled to see what everyone else thought of Tim Burtons' films.

I had to leave out Batman Returns and Mars Attacks! because they couldn't fit. If they are your fav, indicate below, but I doubt many will pick them.

it was between ed wood & edward scissorhands for me. i picked scissors

you should also ad "nightmare before christmas" he didn't actually direct it but it's mostly his film

Super_Trooper, I like you a lot man. But if you don't add Nightmare to this poll I am boycotting all your posts from this day forward.

I'm sure it's a simple oversight, because of how great of a film it is.

I suggest you take Planet of the Apes off to make room.

Yeah, Nightmare has got to be the best.  

Corpse bride looks awesome.  Cant believe I haven't seen that preview yet, ...I must be slacking  ::)

****! I can't believe I forgot Nightmare! I was looking at his Director section on IMDB. Didn't think to look under his producer credits. Planet of the Apes is sooo gone! :D

Ah you took of Planet of the apes! :'( I do not know if I can continue on. It is like lif is meaninless. Now all I have left is my Seaseme Street Fever album, and my teddy bear. So, so, sad.

It was a tough call between Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow. I love them both, but I went with Ed Wood. What can I say, I'm a sucker for black and white movies.

Question: Does Batman not have any votes because people don't like it in general, or beccause it doesn't compare to Burton's other films.

I personally do not like it; nor any that have followed. I think tis one of the worst SUPERHERO to FILM adaptions and am constantly amazed that not only do people dig it, but that they are successful. I hold reservations for the new one coming; which looks like it should "Take it serious as if it "WHAT IF?"

The world that Burton created is too out there and comicy; fake. I love the talent that was brought to the films; Keaton, Clooney, Kilmer, Pieffer (sp?) and Uma...

But the absurd over the top, comic book world is not my thing.
