I just saw this small indie movie by Astron 6 and Troma.....
I still dont know what to think, but how I feel: disgusted, amazed, insulted and still laughing.
Okay. I'm a bit biased. All the Astron-6 filmmakers were just one or two years ahead of me at the same film school, which is pretty small so I knew most of them.
Its strange seeing actors that you've worked with in small school productions, and some you consider friends, get naked on screen, get covered in blood, raped, light on fire, have sex, and still find it hilarious.
This movie is perfect evidence to counter pixel-counters, or those that think quality=money. A well written script, with great pacing from the actors to deliver perfect lines. Shot for $10k.
Go see it, if you like early Peter Jackson, 80s exploitation films, or good laughs (if you dont mind the gore), its a must see.
