Fastest conversion 60D>FC7 AND convert slomo TIFF seqs to...

I'm working for a client atm (doing 3D and Motion graphics) and noticed and the editors are having issues waiting on footage conversion from the 60D/7D to quicktime/prores (ie, it's a bit of a workflow killer). There's some extra iMacs lying around so I wanted to find the fastest workflow to setup to do 2 things:

1) Convert 60D/7D footage to something to more usable in FC7 (assuming 4:2:2 prores?) What's the fastest way to do this without quality loss? New Compressor4? 5DtoRGB? multiple MpegStreamclip instances?

2) And convert slowmo footage shot monday that's currently in TIFF sequences to something more usable and crop/fix aspect ratio as the footage is variable depending on framerate but around 7200fps we were getting 1024x1024 or 1024x778 ish...and since it's TIFF it converts relatively well to 1080p. The editors were doing it right in Quicktime Player 10 but we're debating After Effects CS3, Compressor 3, Compressor 4 or Quicktime ...? Or perhaps convert to an interim video format that's high quality and then compress using one of the above tools mentioned for converting 60D/7D?

Thanks for any input :)

HI there
I am new here, and i want to know more about this site. You said that you want to convert slowmo footage shot monday that's currently in TIFF sequences to something more usable and crop/fix aspect ratio as the footage. For me ,i've never tried that. But i often convert tiff files using a tiff converter. You can have a try.Maybe it will be helpful.Best wishes.

1. Run a batch process in MPEG streamclip
2. Import sequences into After Effects as a image sequence. Set the interpret the footage at 7200fps, new composition at 24fps or whatever you need.
