I am playing around with Premiere Elements 8 and uploading footage to youtube. I am uploading
it but it takes more than 4 hours in the WMV. format. Any recommendations?

1) Buy faster connection (If possible)
2) Create smaller more efficent files

h.264 video codec in an .mp4 container is more efficent but I'm not sure if Premiere Elements can make those files. If quality is not an issue you can always go lower resolution by downscaling to 480P and using less bitrate if You need to quickly upload files to youtube.
