Right Click the clip, then select Insert/Remove Envelope then chose Velocity Envelope. You can move the green bar up to make it move faster. Hope this helps.

are you sure this feature is available in Vegas Movie Studio and not Vegas ?

I see only two things for Envelop. "Composite Level" and "Fade to Color" no velocity !

[scharky]

Vegas Movie Studio is the "little brother" to Vegas. It is very powerful but does not have many features found in the full version of Vegas. Of course, it's also much cheaper.

before you pony up the big bucks for the full version of Vegas,
pay the $49 for http://www.vasst.com/product.aspx?id=6de1f3ea-2cc5-49b1-8bf5-694ef7cc7fb9 the training DVD. it's worth every penny! you will be amazed at what you can do.

I have a question going the opposite direction...can slowmotion be achieved in the editing process or only "overcraking". I want to be sure that I can do this with the DVX 100B and Vegas+DVD (full version) combo. Sorry if this is to basic of a question..new to this game and want to be sure I get the right set up....

Hold down the CTRL key and make the clip LARGER - that will give you slow motion.
