Fast Forward audio disabled

Whenever i scroll through footage in the timeline or through a clip I always hit the "L" key to speed it up. Well suddenly i can no longer hear the footage when I hit the "L" key more than once. I must have accidently messed with the settings and I can't figure out how to get my audio back when I'm fast forwarding. Anyone know??? Thanks.

Not sure which version of FCP you're on but you might want to check User Prefrences/Editing and make sure 'Trim with Sequence Audio' is activated... it might also be a memory issue or Dynamic memory issue. If you're cutting in HD vs DV, the HD might not be able to stream the sped-up sound in realtime in conjunction with the HD stream. If you haven't changed any of your settings recently, I'd doubt that it's a software issue and might be more related to a memory issue.
