It is the 'identical' location. It is a restaurant in the LA area... well maybe 'restaurant' is giving it a higher class that it should really have...

I'm pretty sure the Avengers use included some number of hours of setup... the "Birdemic II" promo setup... 5 minutes... shoot... 5 minutes... get the hell out of Dodge... 5 minute... ok, maybe 15-20 minutes in all...

Since I didn't shoot this I don't really know... but those are my guesses.

It has inspired me to do a 'location' tour of LA one of these days, and shoot some more 'well known' movie locations, and then show the movie 'set dressed' version.

Things that could have 'enhanced' the "Birdemic II" promo... had the crew had the time... Light in the back of the room. There's a 'char woman' back there, which is more obvious in the moving pictures clip. But due to the darkness, kind of gets lost, especially in the still.

Perhaps a light, hidden by the trash box on the frame right, could have kicked more light back there, and flagged to look more like just the front window light coming in.

The 'kitchen/prep' area is also pretty dark.

Other items would be the Avengers 'look' is a bit seedier, so, perhaps some trash on the trash box would do better.

Yeah, all those aliens traipsing through the place just had to have an impact... but the birds should have had some impact on things... I mean, every time I park under this tree at my sister-in-law's house, where the ground is covered with... guano... my car gets guanoed... maybe Birdemic birds don't leave leavings...

cant tell if youre kidding or not. I am deadly serious though. :| <------ serious look.
the place is supposed to look messy cause its after the big fight. didnt you see the movie all of new york was prolly rumbling and shaking cause there was like giant mechanical space worms smashing into buildings maybe they clipped the shwarma joint and the hulk was running around making earthquake rumbles didnt you see it he like totally smashed.... :|
