The drummer in a well-know Kyoto band died of cancer earlier this year, so his bandmates decided to hang it up after 15 years with a memorial concert, and they asked me to shoot it for a DVD. This is my buddy the pro on his Sony Z1 and me the wannabe on a Panasonic DVC30, a mixed marriage. My Zoom H2 recorder did a good job of capturing the live sound, I think, until I can get the pro mix from the soundman.
Here is their final encore, with what I think was a poetic and poignant ending, 15 years in a single breath.

Unfortunately the wooden riser I was positioned on couldn't hold steady under the force of all those people jumping. so I had to go handheld sometimes.
Any comments or criticism welcomed.
