First I want to thank Jonathan and Palao and all the guys we worked with this weekend.

If you guys haven't seen www.2nd-unit.tv than this will be very confusing.

I had the most fun this weekend working on the shoot at Southbay studios. I'm just a guy from Utah but I got to work with about 50,000.00 worth of lights, cameras, and sound equiptment. And I only screwed up one take, so life is good. Believe me guys this was well worth the drive from Salt Lake to L.A. to get to work on a professional set. You are going to be floored when you see the stunning images you can produce with the right lighting equiptment and a lot of time. I learned more this weekend than I would have in six monthes of trial and error on my own.

Special thanks to the sponsers who make 2nd unit possible Litepanels.com and abel cine and all the others.

Thanks again Jonathan for inculding me.

Hey Chris it was great having you on set with 2nd-Unit. By the way the Fisher light we were using goes for about $225.000 you might be able to pick up a used one for $150.000. I can't imagine what the "Big Bertha" 4X the size of the one were using would cost that was on that 15,000 s.f. stage where we were shooting. Not to mention the killer turntable we put Jonathan's car on than raised it 4 feet up and spun it around.
A special thanks goes out to South Bay Studios for letting us come and shoot. www.southbaystudios.com
I want everyone to know Chris is a man of his word. He drove all the way from Utah, slept on the beach, and was right on time for the 7a.m. call time. You rock dude!
