Fanboism: new Thing?

I agree with the others: tribalism regarding camera brands was WAY worse back in the day. Dude, there was even a small tribe of people on DVXuser who called themselves "b.press crew" because they used a specific type of gamma on their DVX100s. Anyone remember that? People were even tribal over their gamma settings! Things are way better now.

Hahahahahaha that is amazing. And also, B. Press, oh the hit of nostalgia! Before luts and LOG gammas and all of that jazz. Innocent times.

I guess it must have been a lot different on the indie/budget scene. I never saw anything like that in my world(mostly network TV).
