famous song for my project?

[abalex]

does anyone here knows anything about acquiring the rights or the licence to use famous music for your project?
For example, How much would cost me to licence "such great hights" from THe postal service?
Is there a website I can go to ask for this type of information?

thanks

socam in canada, i don't know the american equivalent, you can get licence costs i believe through them, depending on the usage whether for festival, or whatever distribution you choose. Or contact the composer directly if you can track them down, good luck.
