faking old film AUDIO?

I'm familiar with the various video filters and effects for faking old/damaged film in Vegas, but how would you go about doing the same thing to audio?

I can add a few tracks of hiss and crackle sound effects (any public domain URL suggestions for appropriate sound files would be welcome), but I'd like to also 'degrade' the main audio tracks with some filters for that 1930s newsreel wobbly sound style, if that makes any sense...

maybe try the pitch shift and use keyframes to make it go up and down slightly? make sure you check the box for maintain duration. for noise you could probably just record a speaker that is turned way up or something.

thanx, ThatoneJonGuy. Although it's designed for vinyl grungification, it sounds like it would work equally well for film soundtracks too - I'll give it a try.
