Fair rate to pay for capturing & logging question (job details in post)

Hello,

I'm shooting a Pankration rules mixed martial arts tournament next month and am interested in hiring someone to capture and log the footage after the event. I have the person in mind I want to hire and I need to figure out what a fair rate would be for the work.

I don't want to pay more than I need to but, on the other hand, I'm definitely not the type that will pay someone less than what a job is worth. I'd appreciate if I could get some recommendations for what a fair rate would be given the information below. If more info is needed, please let me know and I'll provide additional details.

The tournament will consist of 3 mats with 3 camera operators covering each mat. The last event resulted in about 50 hours of combined footage with matches averaging out to be around 3 to 4 minutes in length. Most of the footage will be fairly straightforward as far as naming of files ("Mat 1 - Cam B - Match 23" for example). B-roll footage file names I want to be self explanatory with no info needed to be logged (unless a file name is too short to give an adequate description). Each clip info will not need to be logged. The only logging information needed would be a very short description of the two competitors for each match only (not each clip of each match) so that the matches can be accurately accounted for and numbered chronologically. All in all, data entry would be minimal.

I'm going to be doing about a third of the capturing and logging and would like to hear what a fair rate would be for each hour of tape.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
