Failed in compressor

Any idea a FCP project might have failed in Compressor? It has happened several times. I am using fairly low settings, but... still doesn't work.
Any suggestions on how to not have this happen? Thanks.

What do you mean by failed? Do you get an error message? or does the result not play properly? What exactly happens?

Could be anything- more details please. Could be out of disk space, data rate too high, resolution settings that the codec can't handle, etc.

If your trying to use "Send to Compressor" from within FCP, I've had that fail on me many times. Especially when trying to send to a render cluster.

The best way to process in Compressor is to first export a full .mov file from FCP, then drop it into Compressor. It will work faster, more reliable, and also frees up FCP to do other work.
