Faded look on Premiere CS6?

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me achieve this look on Premiere CS6: https://vimeo.com/95230113 ?
It doesn't seem very complex but I've been trying and I cannot get right. I also have the A7, BTW.

A lot of it's likely the lighting and lens choices, but have you tried simply lowering the contrast? Or doing a sort of reverse S-curve?

Reduce Chroma a tad. Adjust Levels first using Level or Curves.

Way I do this sometimes is by adding a solid color matte on top of your current footage, then muck around with 1.) opacity, and 2.) color of the actual matt.

Light blue does some nice things, or keep it basic with white and/or other colors.

You can also put the matte below your video footage and adjust the opacity of the footage a bit to see if that looks any different than the first method I mentioned.
