A few fade to blacks have a sudden clunk sound when I play them back on the dvd player hooked to my tv. The dvd player on my computer plays them fine. Printed to tape and they play fine to. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

by any chance is it fading down and then a new clip starts right after that? you might have audio clipping that your speakers on your computer are not catching cuz they're not as good as your tv.. just a thought...

This happened to me as well. In your edit, take a look at the actual clip without the fade on it, because you may well find you've got one or two frames from the next clip hanging on at the end. If there isn't, try editing the audio fade at the end to mute slightly before the end of the visual fade, that way whatever is making the noise should be muted by the time the playhead gets to it.
