faces dissolving into faces

We want to dissolve faces into faces like they do in some commercials.
How do I accomplish such a thing?

Also I want to slowly move from b&w to colour over a 22 minute piece.
Any ideas about that would be greatly appreciated also.

Also I want the background to change behind the people we interview. I guess I would need green screen for that. What would I need and where would I find it?

look for morph or morphing for the faces,

if you mean over the whole period it wont look that good, but for a scene, you can simply di-saturate the image or apply a black/white filter then adjust the intensity of the filter or the percentage.
