Hello, anyone got experience on how to drive traffic to your movie's Facebook page? I'm trying -- I'm sure like many others -- to start a fanbase on Facebook. Later I'm gonna build an actual website (any advice on that too?), but for now I'm just trying to make do with what I have. Here it is so far: https://www.facebook.com/nowherejohnnymovie

I'm also putting up flyers around town and telling everyone I possibly can. Basically, I'm looking for tips and advice how to build an early fanbase for your indie movie.

You could try advertising online. Or you could go solo promoting it online by sharing the page on similar sites. Go to some movie discussion websites/forums and post it around there. Include forum sig in IMDB board or something like that. Tweet some people who are interested in movies and ask for a retweet.

For the website, go with Wordpress. It's free and has amazing potential for any site. There will be a theme for you out there. Include the trailer, photos, info, crew and contact details and anything else you want visitors to know.
