Facebook invents unit of time for video

Sounds extremely silly. Yes, keeping track of time with different frame rates is a pain, but I'd think having to do it in a new unit that's not what you used when setting your camera only makes it worse.

Edit: all the content creators I know have abandoned FB as a primary platform, they either never upload anything, or do it whenever they can just to have it as a portfolio. They know they can't reach an audience on FB anymore. Which is the perfect explanation for why FB would try to solve a silly problem with a silly solution. It's the kind of thing you do when you have big problems you don't want to look at.

If it can provide a reliable method to sync variable frame rate video with constant speed audio in an NLE, phonographers and game capture enthusiasts will rejoice.
