F&V R-300 LED Ring Lights look very Promising for it's price.

I have been on the hunt for LED lights for the longest time within my budget. I have tested many LED on camera lights and have always came back to my Z96 LED. But I have checked out Ems site www.cheesycam.com and have really considered buying this light because of the spread and the color is not bad as well.
 
I just got this. Its nice and compact. Lights pretty swell for its size. I havent tested it out yet for color shift but its perfect for those interview or closeup shots.
 
Dcloud... how do you reckon they would hold out for medium wide shots? Could you get away with using a couple, one above the other? Or simply get them a bit away to get more spread?
