F Connect (Facebook)-- new dvxuser feature. Good? Bad?

I just noticed something new here on dvxuser, a "f Connect" button at the top of the dvxuser page. Anybody tried it? Worth it? Good, bad, indifferent? Benefit if any?

I'm leery of these FB apps as they tend to lead to SPAM. As for "benefit," I've yet to see anything positive happen for me after being on Linkedin for the past 3 years or so.

Yeah, and I just quit Facebook the other day, so I need to get rid of that F Connect plugin.
I joined up on Google+, not sure if it will be useful, but I see it could have benefits, am going to give it a try but not spend a bunch of time there.

I use Firefox and Ad Block Plus. You can right click on that Facebook icon, and add it to be blocked, and it disappears.
you can google search for adblock plus-don't know if it's appropriate to post a link to it here, especially because it blocks nearly 100% of a sites ad's.
