Not so clever
I had the pleasure of working with another DVXUser member on one of my short films for class, Gaery Bowman.
when we were done I got to talking with him about different adapters and he used to own a M2 and sold it for a Letus Extreme. This immediately peaked my interest because I was going to go with a Letus Extreme but I didn't have the money for it nor the time to wait for it to ship, so I went for the M2.
I visited him at his home yesterday after a very grueling 3 days of non-stop shooting and was able to test out the Letus on his HVX200 and the M2 on my HVX200, both on the same settings.
Here's 2 stills from the test, I'm uploading a rather large file of a 1 minute test with both stock footage. These are right out of the camera, to FCP, and exported. There's no CC or manipulation at all. I must say I have an extreme appreciation for the Extreme now, and man do I have to get one of those sometime soon!
Used Gaery's Zeiss 1.4 50mm lens I think, or was it a 55mm? Can't remember, either way both cameras had the same exact settings, I shot wide open on both the camera and the lens.
