Anyone else a fan? I've been going through the series on Netflix and I'm lovin it. I'm starting to get on my own nerves though cause I keep saying "Are you having a laugh? He's having a laugh!"

The Kate Winslet episode may just be the funniest 27 and a half minutes in television history...

The Ian McKellen, David Bowie and Patrick Stewart ones are also epic.

Ricky Gervais is great at that schtik. I'll take his version of the Office over the AMerican one any time.

Chris:

I am on my third cycle of Extras, I watched them when they aired, then about a year ago, then just this past week. Seeing Dame Rigg with the Jonny on her head was worth the price of admission. Ashley Jensen more than deserved her BAFTA, love Maggie so much. I must say that Stephen Merchant's turn in front of the cameras surprised me, his character is superb.

Gervais and Merchant are geniuses, love The Office - the real one not this lame NBC piece of junk (I agree, the American one sucks so badly in comparison but what do Ricky and Stephen care, they are laughing all of the way to the bank!).

Seeing this series just made me wish that Kate Winslet and Ian McKellan would do more comedy, the two of them were priceless.

Gotta say, British television is a hundred times better than the crap we get over here. Just saw today that there is a big buzz over a new show that will be debuting over here called "Shark Pit" where inventors and businessmen try to convince millionaires to finanace their new business ventures. Oh how original, except the damn shows already been on BBC for years and it's called "Dragon's Den", it's on BBC America you morons! Oh yeah and we all know how successful the Adam Carolla version of the Americanized Top Gear went.

When Gervais accidentally kicked over "Willow" I didn't stop laughing until the credits rolled. I was definitely "havin' a laugh!"
