External Monitor question

[armisiano]

As we know, when you watch your footage on the LCD of your camera, the image is cropped, as well as on a television. When your footage is captured onto your computer, you see the full picture.

Do external monitors crop as well? Or do you see the full image? If some crop, and others don't, which ones don't?

Any pro monitor don't crop.

If the monitor lists "Underscan" as a feature, then it can show you the full image.
