I'm running the new Final Cut Studio, and I'm working on a project that was shot on the Canon 7D, and then ProRes'd. I've also got projects on my computer that were shot on the HVX200. My problem is this, I have two monitors, Samsung 1080p 23"'s, and when I use my second monitor as an "External Monitor" (left screen is canvas\bin\timeline\effects, right screen is just a full screen viewer), after about 10 minutes, my second monitor starts to appear choppy. My mac pro's got quad 3.2's, 14gb of ram, and plenty of video memory, and I can't seem to figure out the settings to get it to play smoothly all the time.
Any ideas\suggestions?
