When I am editing on my laptop I often, well everytime, will have an external hard drive hooked up as my media drive. Well when I walk away for let's say 10 min. maybe less, the drives go to sleep and spin down. So when I go to scrub the timline the drives have to spin back up and catch up with what I am doing. Does anyone know of a way to set the drive "sleep" time to longer. I am working on OSX 10.4.8 with FCP and a Lacie EHD. Thanks for any info.
