Yes, this is the one I have unfortunately - got the computer four years ago, ha!
I've rarely used it on my computer as I usually edit with Media100 but my next project is on Final Cut Pro 4 and I'm having an issue whenever I open up the program. This pops up:
External A/V
Unable to location NTSC (720X480).
Your system configuration may have changed or your deck/camera may be disconnected or turned off.
----
I had my DVX camera on (I know, I know, shame on me - my deck is being fixed) and tried it with both camera plugged into fire-wire cable as well as camera plugged into camera while in logging mode (blue screen and while video is playing).
And when I go to log footage, it gives me a "unable to locate" message as well. What may be the issue here? I messed around with the Audio/Video settings but to no avail?
----
Second question, how can I do the 2:35:1 bars in FCP 4? Can anyone give me a run down of what I click to get to the "matte settings" or whateve the bar laying setting is.
