Extending the "Flash" Transition

Hi! Does anyone know if the "Flash" Transition can be extended in Vegas? Even with the "Hard Flash" selection, it's not very long. Do you know of any way to do this? Thank you.

The transition will be as long as the overlap between the clips. Extend the overlap, and you'll extend the transition.
