Hello,
I'm going to be purchasing the new Panny HVX-170 when it comes out this fall. I also was going to purchase a used
(but in excellent condition) laptop to use to dump the data from the P2 card into the laptop.
The laptop has the newer version PCI-E or PCI Express card slot on it. I found an adapter from Addonics (ADEXC34CB thanks to Barry Green)
that will accept the older P2 card and adapt it to fit the newer PCI Express slot.
My question is, has anyone had any experience using this setup? Will it work OK or are there any known issues? Any other help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
