Many of us are delaying the purchase of a new notebook or laptop because the ExpressCard slot will not accept a P2 card. As you know, Panasonic designed its P2 technology to require the legacy-compatible, but already obsolete PC Card (also know as PCMCIA) slot.
One workaround is an adapter such as this one from Duel Systems.
At CES, Duel announced that the adapter is ready and has been tested and approved by Panasonic. Howsomever, all of your P2 cards will require a firmware upgrade to use the adapter. We are waiting for Panasonic to finish work on the firmware installer to make this happen. At CES, Duel estimated a release date of February 6.
