Exporting with FCP PLease Help

When I try to export using Compressor I am getting an error that reads Unable to Connect to Background Process.

Has any one else had this problem, and know how to fix it.

I am running Tiger.
 
Did the problem start after you installed Tiger? Is there a Compressor update available?

There are a few problems being reported with some of the software/hardware DV people use.
 
Did you read any other open threads on compressor.....
Yes other people are having the same issue.
look down a couple of threads
