I want to export the highest uncompressed video from after effects. Im editing with premiere on a pc. When i export whatever footage im going to be importing into AE, i export as AVI uncompressed. When im done with it in AE i want to export the same but as a quicktime so i can plug it right back into my premiere time line. So what are the best settings to do so?

Also i shot with a dvx100a in 24pa setting. I want to also get a smooth image. What should the fps be? thanks.

You can use the animation codec, which as I recall is a 'lossless' codec. There is also TIFF and a few others that are lossless.

You can simply copy and paste your clips from Premiere to AE, if they are just rough cuts. Getting back is another story. Why not finalize in AE so you will only have one compression instead of your current three?

Select the levels on Premiereand COPY. Inside after effects create a new composition, Modify and paste!
