Exporting to Quicktime results in on-screen text squeeze

When I export a portion of my movie I'm editing to a quicktime file (h.264 compression using Compressor), the video seems to be squished slightly, very noticeable in the text. It's a 16:9 project and I've made sure to export in 16:9 aspect ratio.

The project is DVCproHD 720p24 footage, if this helps. Not sure what I'm doing wrong to have the text come out squished. Thanks if anyone has an idea.
