Exporting to DVDF Question

I have been searching dvxuser for an answer to my solution but I can't seem to find one. I'm exporting a 5 min video clip so i can make a dvd. i shot this on a p2 card at 30fps in SD.

i have exported 1st as: quicktime movie/current settings. the video looked okay but i thought it lost some its quality.

2nd: i exported as quicktime movie using quicktime conversion. i had tried h.264; dvcpro ntsc and the quality is better but when play the dvd on the dvd player using my t.v. it has a green line under the video.

can someone give me some insight on the best quality for exporting.

Export directly to Compressor and use a High Quality MPEG-2 preset. No reason to go to H.264 first.

Thanks Noah for the info. I went ahead and took your advice and the footage is great, however, I can not import it to IDVD. Any sugestions?
