Re: exporting to burn to dvd

If it's less than 60 minutes use 60 minute High quality compressor. If not use 2 hour high quality settings.

Re: exporting to burn to dvd

I apologize for not doing any research, and just asking this question. However, I dont own DVD Studio and just use iDVD...You guys happen to know if you can use the above mentioned techniques to compress and import that into iDVD instead of letting iDVD do the crappy job it does at compressing?

Re: exporting to burn to dvd

I'm not sure if iDVD takes in pre-compressed MPEG footage. I lknow it doesn't support 24fps. Try different settings within iDVD to see if you can maximize the quality.

Re: exporting to burn to dvd

yeah, tried the different settings already. crap. banding. sucks. i'll try Compressor on the next round and see if i can import it. Plus iDVD 5 is out now, which supposedly does 16:9 now as well.
