Exporting subs with sony vegas?

I've finished a short film and I want to participate in film festivals. In some festivals they asked for subtitles in .srt format with timecode.
How can I do that with Sony Vegas?
I have to use a script? Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
if you have Vegas Pro 8 or newer, download Vegasaur. It contains Markers tool that can export (and import) markers/regions/closed captions to SRT, SBV (for YouTube), SUB (DVDA) and other formats. You can freely use it for 30 days.

Please note that Vegas Pro 10 can export closed captions to SRT subtitles, but it can not export regions

Thank you nancy and altarvic. I have Vegas 10. So I have to rewrite all subs from video factory text into closed captions and exporting my project. Right?
The video tutorial seems very helpful. Thanks!
