Exporting stills from timeline for web ?

Hi,

I am in the middle of a shoot for a website advert for an IT comp.

I want to send some stills from my timeline to show to the client some test shots for different looks & tints etc.
I know how to make a freeze frame - but, whats the best way of exporting a bunch of stills from the timeline so I can send to the client by email or by uploading  on a web page - just for viewing ?
What format is best - jpeg - avi - photoshop or something else ? ???

I have tried freezing a frame & exporting as jpeg thru QT compression but it plays like a movie file - not like some of the stills that people generally post on forums etc.

I just want to email or up load some PC friendly stills from my timeline that are fairly small in file size ie: preferably in kb's rather than MB's

Also - There are plenty of jpegs posted up here - would really appreciate a workflow from someone:)

Cheers ;)

Place the playhead over the frame you want to export, then export using quicktime conversion, change to "still image" in options change to jpeg. After you save it you can open in photoshop and change the aspect ratio with constrain proportions unchecked (you should create an action for this so can change your unsquare pixels to a square pixel format if you are going to do lots of jpgs). You can enhance the image in photoshop if you so desire, but at this time the resolution should be fine for web posting 72dpi.
