exporting questions

hello everyone.

Im looking for advice on how to export some footage from my macbook pro.
Basically i've filmed a play for someone and need to make dvds. Its about 2hrs long.

Is it possible to make some quick edits and burn to a disk using my set up?

Macbook pro 2.16 Ghz core duo, 1 gig Ram
Final Cut 5.1
iDVD

Is my setup strong enough? And what is the best way to export if its shot on squeeze and going straight to DVD?

File - Export -QT Movie - Current Settings (non-self-contained)

Shot on squeeze is another issue... google for anamorphicizer (or something like that) -- run the saved file thru that and then THAT file into iDVD.

Drag that file into iDVD.
