Hello, I am trying to export from CS6, I am trying to export a DVD file, then quicktime, in any case is taking forever, when I see 1% progress, cs6 is telling me is going to take 140 hours to finish, is this normal?

I am mixing an avi file and a dvcpro HD file, I am adding neat video noise reduction, the export is tow hours long

I have an intel Imac from 2009

Best regards

How long is your video? Are you using NeatVideo on the whole thing? If you happen to have a significantly long video with NeatVideo computing away throughout its entire running time, I could see that render taking about 140 hours on your 2009 iMac.

Okay so it's a two hour long timeline and added NeatVideo Noise reduction. I'll tell you what I'd try. I'd make certain to try a short clip of the timeline withOUT neat, then re-import that and give it the neat-treat and see if that would work. If so, then It'd shave some of that render-time off. But yes. Adding Noiseware to your timeline will def slow the cooker way way down.

Also, you mention exporting. You are using Media Encoder to render this right? You might want to take VBR 2/pass down to one, etc. Always try a snippet or short from the timeline first to ensure you're result is as expected before going thru a lo0ong render.
