Exporting issue!

URGENT!
This needs to be finished ASAP!!

I have been working on a video for a friend for the past week. I have shot it on my T2i, and edited it on Sony Vegas Pro 9.0

We finished filming and editing the movie completely, everything went smoothly. But, when we tried to render/export it, we were not able to. It says something like this... "Error: the system does not have enough memory to process"

I filmed in 1080p HD, and we want it to be burned onto a DVD in at least 720p.
Its a 3 minutes long.

What do I do now? - What are my options?
Do I also need a DVD greater than 4.7GB?
Maybe I was exporting it wrong too? I've never exported anything on Vegas before, any help?

I want to export straight onto a DVD in 720p, but it still wont let me. Any clue how to fix this?

Thanks Guys!

Shot on the Canon T2i. Files were converted before editing.

First off, DVD's are standard def and can't do 720p. You'd need to burn a blu-ray for that. If you're burning to an SD DVD, render as a mpeg2 file. There's a setting in there for widescreen DVD Architech file. Use that one and you should be good.

Well, there's a lot of things that could be going wrong. The VERY end of your message says the files were "converted" before editing, but it doesn't say to what. You do know you can't put HD video on to DVD right? That's why BluRay is for.

Sounds like you've got some homework to do coming up to speed on this stuff.

Um. okay, I wasnt sure of the DVD thing. But, I tried that because it wouldn't export onto the computer and I thought it would onto a DVD. I'm more concerned about exporting anywhere in HD.

What about exporting straight onto the computer then?

Video was converted to: DNxHD from .Mov - Which was what I was told by others on this forum to do.

Ok, so, you've got DNxHD files (what bitrate?? DNxHD 175?) and you want to export them into HD or SD files? If you want to go to a playable DVD, then you need to export to SD. Mpeg2 SD to be exact, and Vegas has a template for that.

The out of memory error is common on Vegas 32bit. So give us a bit of info so we can help you.

What version EXACTLY of Vegas are you using? Vegas 9.0(?)

Are you using 32 or 64 bit Vegas

What template are you using to do this render?

Have you attempted to set your dynamic RAM preview to zero? Do you know how to do that?

Give us some details and we'll get this solved.

~ I want to export in HD, not SD. I wasnt 100% certain if DVD's did HD, so I thought I would give it a try but, I know now that it doesn't so, I will put it on Blue ray instead later.

~Highest - DNxHD 175
~Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
~32 bit Vegas
~Im not on the computer that has Vegas, from what I remember for HD (.avi) But I even tried (.wmv), which I know not to use, but it still showed me it was low on memory. <-- If that's what you wanted to know.
~Dont know how to set dynamic RAM to 0.
